  • Since 1977, Jon Probstein has been representing and assisting people and businesses in all civil matters.

    A graduate of Syracuse University and St. John’s University School of Law, where he was an Editor of the St. John’s Law Review, he is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and the federal courts of New York's Southern and Eastern Districts. He is a panel member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Council for the Eastern District of New York. He also serves as an Arbitrator in District Court, Nassau County, on the Arbitration Panel and Mediation Advocacy Program of the Eastern District of New York and as a Part 137 Arbitrator on attorney/client fee disputes. He is also a member of the Mediation Advocacy Program of the Eastern District of New York, a Part 146 mediator for Nassau, Kings, Bronx, and Richmond County and a qualified Part 36 Guardian. Jon has regularly performed pro bono work for the Nassau/Suffolk Law Services, Inc. and Nassau County Bar Association, where he is also a member of the Lawyers Assistance Program Committee, Vice Chair of the Real Property Committee and the recipient of the 2015 Thomas Maligno Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award.
